When Rep. Nancy Barto chaired the House Health and Human Services Committee and I was ranking Democrat, we had a marathon anti-vax “hearing”. The anti-vaxers filled the committee room and the adjoining room. Barto gave us all anti-vax propaganda books beforehand. The lobbyists against the measles vaccine and parents who claimed their children had major health problems from the measles shot got three hours or so to talk. A handful of worried doctors got like a minute each because by that time it was almost lunch. The last speaker was ARMA lobbyist Steve Barkley. After waiting four hours to speak, he got one minute. (I now think that the anti-vax lobbyists were probably from RFK Jr’s group.) Too bad I’m busy tomorrow or I’d come up for this.
"Skeptic" is too mild to describe RFK Jr's vaccine stance; apparently he has been shown the evidence for efficacy and safety multiple times and he still doesn't accept it. I think of skepticism as a very healthy thing - there are accepted models of many things, and skepticism means that we are open to new evidence that can force us to consider modifying those models. But if someone ignores evidence, that's a different thing. I think the technical term for RFK Jr in this context is "wacko."
We have heard a lot about Real ID. I use my passport as ID. I’m not paying these nimrods again. FYI, if you have a current passport you don’t need Real ID. You can also get a card along with your book to put in your wallet.
Fontes will crush Kolodin. Swoboda fake endorsement or not. Fools errand especially in this tariff climate. MAGAs and their primaries are the gift that keeps on giving. Phil Boas noted in his opinion piece in the Republic. As one Wharton professor reportedly called Trump the “dumbest (expletive) student I ever had.”
Highly recommend the four-part "Behind the Bastards" episode on RFK, as long as you are not bothered by bad words.
Honestly, the first two episodes create a lot of sympathy for the guy. If you WANTED to create someone like RFK, it would be harder to do a better job than the Kennedys. His mother seems to have hated him from birth, he was given almost no boundaries or guidance as a child, and, you know, his uncle and dad were violently and publicly assassinated when he was a teen.
OFC, while your history and childhood isn't your responsibility, learning and growing into a healthy person who doesn't kill dozens of children in Guam with anti-vaxx nonsense is!
An updated old protest chant:
Hey, hey, RFK
How many kids did you kill today

Gina Swoboda also worked for SOS Michelle Reagan and Governor Doug Ducey. I called Gina a lot with questions.
Re the footnote about Kelli Ward: How about an update on the "fake electors"? Is the AG still counting on a prosecution?

Love the new tone, Agenda! Was worried you were trying to avoid being seen as staking a position.
Keep it up!
