Congratulations on not focusing on T**** on the day after Indictment Day, only mentioning him in a Zoellner quote in the interview. As one of the newcomers referred to in the interview, I very much appreciated the perspectives about the state Zoellner provided here.
Changing Hands in Phoenix or Tempe (that’s what we linked to in the first few paragraphs — it shows in stock at both). Antigone in Tucson has the book listed on its site, so probably has it if you call
Rachel, your older readers haven’t learned yet what a link looks like. I thought you just underlined those words because they were the book title, like in a 4th grade book report. 😂
We came to Arizona in the late 70's from a rural Midwestern community. One evening, we went to Chris Town Mall to see what shopping was like after 5 pm. In the Midwest, most everything closed at 5 or 6 pm. We were in one of the large stores there. There was a 6 foot diameter table that had nothing but socks arranged on it. Different colors, different styles, it was truly impressive. I was looking at it and noticed the guy on the other side. It happened to be Governor Bruce Babbitt. I asked if he was the Governor. He said yes. I told him we were just moving to Arizona. He warmly welcomed us to Arizona. He said the next morning, he was flying to Washington, D.C. and realized all his socks had holes in them. We helped him pick some socks out. He bought pretty boring socks. I asked him where his security was. He said it was Arizona and why would the Governor need security? I volunteered for his campaign for awhile. Visited his house several times for events. He was always very warm and welcoming. Was offered a position on his staff, but I went in a different direction. He certainly was approachable.

It looks like one can purchase the book through Bookstop online but does anyone have tips on where to find the book at a brick and mortar store?

I can be very blonde from time to time.
For us, anything in green type is a link!
How sad it is that David Farnsworth was elected and Rusty wasn’t. All I could do is shake my head reading the Az Mirror story. Just Sad
