People might actually show up if these debates were held in the district before an audience of real voters instead of on zoom with 5 insiders watching.

By "people," do you mean candidates? I know in my own case that these last couple of weeks have been spent watching youtube videos, etc. in order to hear & see candidate responses. There is too much to learn & understand about the candidates & issues. Even if there is no crowd at the time of the event, there are voters who watch online on their own schedule. We're here . . . where are the "people?"

It's true -- Saturday & Sunday when my son Levi & myself were checking in for our canvassing assignments, we were delighted to meet the Californians who made efforts for AZ GOTVing.

Former PHX Mayor Greg Stanton was delighted when Levi mentioned fun fact to him, he is a 5th generation AZnan.

Let's pass Prop 140 and make future candidates for office start showing up for these debates as the competition will be much stronger than the current system allows.
