Politico: “I don’t think she [Lake] has any prospect of actually being elected,” said Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah). “The people of Arizona are smarter than that.”
To be fair, 2022 wasn't a total failure for Turning Point. 2 school board seats might seem.like a bad return on invested capital to most but without Carney and Werner's squeaker where would Chucky Big Bucks be?
I think it is too early to write of Turning Point & its minions. Before the tsunami hits shore, the water recedes. That's not the time to say that everything is fine. The water is coming back soon. We need to be as patient as Turning Point in pushing back on their ideas.
agree with your statement, Nick. Another round of devastating losses will be required to kneecap Chuckey-Big-Bucks. Same for the election deniers. And unfortunately - or fortunately - however you look at it - Arizona and in particular Scottsdale elections have become the tipping point for the nation. Sinema just sent a fundraising email, saying extreme “candidates” are running for her seat. Multiple? Who besides Lake?
