I question the utility of writing to legislators. I have written many a letter, both physical and electronic, to my representatives with absolutely zero response (looking at you Lela Alston and Sarah Ligouri). My burning issues are air quality and fireworks. If I'm not a donor, lobbyist or consultant, I don't think they have the time of day for my issues.
