Does anyone know during what time frame the legislators who want to use campaign money for childcare are talking about? Is it just during campaigning, or anytime they are in session or even in office? The nationwide group pushing this says that some states only allow it during campaigns and others when official duties are performed, which is probably minimally during session.
Very interesting data on numbers of bills sponsored, etc., from this current Legislative Session. I would be interested to see the breakdown by political party as to bills sponsored, bills accepted by Committees, passed by Committees, Floor debate, etc.
