Jake Hoffman is described accurately in your piece on Don Bowles. For a man who claims to be a faith leader (all the time) his way of doing politics is closer to Machiavelli not St. Augustine. In this case, why he is so adamantly opposed? It is a given he is anti-media but this memorial thing seems to have a back story?

As a radical conservative, I'm four square in favor of the Bowles memorial being built.

Mr. Hoffman probably wouldn’t know of St Augustine or his doctrinal stances.

Try J. Smith or B. Young as thought leaders for the senator.

My opinion of Jake Hoffman is that he is a while male supremacist on steroids...a bully...a really offensive human. And he cloaks it all in religion making it even worse.

Hoffman appears to be the least religious person in the Arizona legislature.

I completely agree. I think he uses it to support his imagined supremacy.

I finally figured out how a striker bill can be used for something noble. It seems extreme but when you’ve got people like Jake Hoffman I guess it’s the best option. Who votes for this man?

Kudos for hanging in there on the Bowles memorial - it is a good example of how to be persistent and build consensus around a worthy bipartisan objective (“Rome wasn’t built in a day” and all that). The initiative also serves a useful purpose by illustrating the character (or lack thereof) of Mr. Hoffman, colorfully (and accurately) described by other commenters. He epitomizes the plague that has descended on the AZ GOP - and we will only eradicate it by shining the light of day on Hoffman and his fellow grifters (including he and his cohorts don’t care about actually winning, it is all about perpetuating the grift).

I’m wondering if K Hobbs ever gets the “Agenda” treatment and called a “chickens###”, for her veto on 7 water bills?? Sometimes there are uncooperative actors on both sides of the aisle.

Gail Griffin has got to go. She offers nothing constructive to solving complex water problems. She learns nothing from her unpopular stance. A Republican without a clue. In a State full of them. VIVA DON BOLLES!!!
